About Huruma
We supply exceptional single-origin Ugandan cocoa beans with integrity, consistency, & full traceability, while advancing meaningful humanitarian work.
Our cocoa is organically grown in Uganda and preserved as a single-origin product, never blended with beans from other sources. This allows us to offer our clients a more reliable and consistent cocoa bean, with the unique character of its origin maintained from harvest through export. By focusing on quality at the source, we aim to provide beans that meet the expectations of buyers who care deeply about consistency, transparency, and trust.

TYPE 1 CERTIFIED
We strengthen that trust by providing lot-level information and by arranging independent testing of sample lots through a cocoa laboratory in the United Kingdom. This independent verification helps ensure that our clients receive quality beans with every shipment and have objective information to support their purchasing decisions. Our goal is to build long-term relationships through dependable quality and honest communication.
A company should be known by both the quality of its product & the good it creates.
At the same time, our mission extends far beyond commerce. Huruma Cocoa is dedicated to humanitarian purposes. We reinvest in the communities that grow our cacao, recognizing that the people at the source of production should also share in the benefits of its success. In addition, we use proceeds to sponsor the rescue of young women from exploitation, offering them safe and secure living, care, and the opportunity to be educated for a noble life of their choosing.
